We held the closing event of our O4All project together with Orijentacijni klub Varaždin, on September 23, 2023, which also marks the end of the one-year project. The implementation of the project was supported by the Erasmus+ Program with a grant of 60 000 Euros.

After mapping the training needs, we prepared a plan for the optimal combination regarding needs-participants-educational materials-methods, and then tested these in the framework of pilot actions. Finally, we now want to share with You the experiences gained during this period.

During the one year of implementation, we tested 12 methods at more than 15 events

with the participation of more than 50 adult volunteers and more than 100 young people.

During the implementation of the project, we established that:

• There are many dedicated orienteering volunteers who want to learn.
• They need complex knowledge to understand the connections between special tasks.
• It is not possible to highlight a specific best learning method, the best result can be achieved by the combination of more methods.
• Although many materials are available on the Internet, there is a great demand for special training materials, especially in Croatian language, and cooperation between organizations/clubs needs to be improved.
